Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and billing information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card numbers).
Photos You Upload: We temporarily process photos you upload in order to apply AI enhancement. Photos are processed and returned to you. We do not retain your original or enhanced photos beyond the time required to deliver the service.
Usage Data: We collect standard analytics data including pages visited, features used, and photo enhancement counts for billing and service improvement purposes.
Logo Files: If you upload a logo for watermarking, we store it associated with your account for the duration of your subscription.

4. Photo Data and AI Processing
Photos you upload are transmitted securely to our AI processing infrastructure. Enhanced photos are returned to you and made available for download. We may use aggregated, anonymized image data (with no personally identifiable information) to improve our AI enhancement models over time.
We do not share individual photos with third parties except as required to deliver the service (e.g., our AI infrastructure provider). We do not use your photos to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.
5. Data Sharing
We share data only as necessary to deliver our services:
- Stripe Inc. — Payment processing. Stripe handles all billing. We never see or store full credit card numbers.
- OpenAI / AI infrastructure providers — Photo enhancement processing. Images are transmitted for processing only and not retained by these providers beyond the processing window.
- Supabase — Database and authentication infrastructure.
- Netlify — Website hosting and form submission handling.
- Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade personal information with advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing companies.
6. Data Retention
Account information is retained for as long as your account is active and for up to 2 years after account closure for legal and accounting purposes.
Uploaded photos are retained only as long as necessary to process and deliver your enhanced images. Original and enhanced photos are deleted from our servers within 30 days of processing unless you have saved them to your account dashboard.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@photomonster.ai.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission, encrypted storage for sensitive account data, and restricted access to production systems.
